Air Namibia mit zweitem Airbus
Die namibische Fluggesellschaft Air Namibia hat den zweiten Airbus A 340-300 in Dienst gestellt. Damit werden die beiden Langstrecken-Verbindungen zwischen Windhoek und Frankfurt sowie London Gatwick nun an allen Flugtagen mit dem gleichen Flugzeugtyp und identischer Ausstattung bedient. Air Namibia fliegt viermal pro Woche zwischen Frankfurt und Windhoek. Von der Hauptstadt Namibias aus gibt es regionale Anschlüsse nach Kapstadt und Johannesburg in Südafrika sowie Maun in Botswana und Victoria Falls in Simbabwe. Gewartet wird die Flotte von Air Namibia von South African Airways sowie von Lufthansa in Frankfurt am Main.
