Filmvorführung - Serengeti darf nicht sterben
Zu Ehren von Professor Bernhard Grzimek, dessen Todestag sich am 13. März zum 20. Mal jährt, veranstaltet die Zoologische Gesellschaft Frankfurt in der Serengeti eine Erinnerungswoche. Vom 12. bis 17. März 2007 wird Grzimeks berühmtester Film „Serengeti darf nicht sterben“ im Besucherzentrum des Serengeti-Nationalparks in Seronera/Tansania jeweils in deutscher und englischer Fassung sowie die Dokumentation „Bernhard Grzimek – Ein Leben für die Tiere“ aufgeführt. Der Film „Serengeti darf nicht sterben“ war 1960 mit dem Oscar für den besten Dokumentarfilm ausgezeichnet worden.
